Calendula is an herb that I grow in my garden mainly for its medicinal properties including anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antibacterial just to name a few. It’s been used to soothe diaper rash, help clear up acne, soothe eczema, heal minor cuts and burns (and sunburns), heal and soothe razor burn, helps with dry cracked skin, etc. The dried flowers are steeped in oil for over a month and used in the soap to get maximum skin benefits.
